E級得獎作品極具創意，特別表現在繪本的製作上，不僅色彩鮮豔，學生們更是運用立體書的表現手法，讓人每翻開一頁都覺得是一個驚喜，視覺效果十足，也讓閱讀成為一種享受！不僅如此，E級的文法句型也見運用在作品裡，令人欣喜！但較令人遺憾的是，E級作品水準參差不齊，落差頗大，許多學生使用艱澀的單字，也常有中式英文出現在作品裡；以故事結構來看，結局常缺乏鋪陳就突然結束；甚至同一個分校的學生作品在繪本的製作型式上完全如出一徹，這是我們所不樂見！期待下一屆的創作家能稟持創造視覺娛樂的好傳統外，在整體英文程度與故事內容結構的完整度上，有更顯著的提昇！

Naughty
Ernie
Long ago, Ernie was a naughty boy. One day,
he found a special overcoat while he was cleaning up the warehouse. He had
never seen it before, so he tried it on.
After putting it on, he became invisible. “Wow!
This is so cool. Now I can do what ever I want and no one would know it.” He
was so excited.
He walked down Sesame Street
However, he didn't feel satisfied, and
wanted more. He wanted to play some practical jokes. He used his foot to trip
people. Many pedestrians fell and got hurt, but no one knew what happened.
When he passed by a building, a woman in
the building was watering flowers on the top floor. The water poured on Ernie
and he was wet.
He felt angry, so he got a stone and threw
it the woman window and broke it. When he saw the angry woman look out find
nothing, he was so happy.
Suddenly, a protruding nail on a lamp post
ripped his overcoat and he wasn't invisible anymore.
When the people on the street saw him
appear all of a sudden, they knew what was going on.
“You have done many bad things and even
hurt people. We don’t want to be tour friends,” said Bert angrily. “No, I was
just kidding.” Ernie wanted to explain himself, but he knew it was all his
fault.
Dear Ernie, we all love toy and want to be
your friends, but your bad habit of playing tricks on people is really
terrible. If you can promise you’ll never do it again, we’ll still friends with
you,” Said Big Bird kindly.
I'm sorry, everyone. I will never do it
again. Please give me a chance and still be my friends.” Ernie begged them.
Since then, Ernie changed himself. He
stopped playing jokes and was willing to help people. Everyone on Sesame Street

PENGUINS' JOURNEY
One day, a ship came to the South Pole. The
people on the ship landed on a place where penguins lived.
When they arrived, they took out a net to
catch the penguins. They were penguin hunters. The penguins quickly hid in an
ice hole, but still, some of them were caught by the penguin hunters.
The hunters come here every month. The
numbers of penguins became less and less.
They couldn't stand it anymore! So, they
had a meeting. The meeting was about what they could do so that the people
wouldn't come anymore.
In the meeting, a young penguin said “There
is no way to stop those hunters from coming here. Maybe we can move to another
place!”
Then, an old penguin said “ I remember
there is a book about the world in the library. Maybe we can read it and decide
where to move.” So all the penguins went to the library to look for it and
finally they borrowed it home.
In the book, they saw many places like
England、Australia、Japan, etc… They didn't know which
place is good for them, so they decided to travel around the world and find
their favorite place and get away from the penguin hunters.
After they made this decision. All of them
were busy packing. They brought almost everything、Goggles、nail clippers、anchovies and of course, the book.
After one week, they started moving. When
they swam to the Pacific Ocean , they saw a
land about one hundred meters far from them. They landed there and opened the
book to check which place it was. It said that this place was Taiwan
They really like it here, so they decided
to take a rest. They took out their anchovies and had a picnic on the beach.
There was a sign said : South
Bay
After 2 weeks. Then saw another island.
They saw many sakura trees. A lot of fresh fid and friendly people on the
island. They knew that it was Japan
They went to a restaurant there and they
ordered some sashimi with wasabi it was delicious! They really like it here,
but it was still not cold enough.
At last, they got to the North Pole. They
saw many animals like polar bears – snowy foxes and killer whales. They became
good friends. There were many big ice burgs, a lot of and icy fish and cool
fresh air! They really liked it here and it was cold enough, so they lived
there happily ever after.

Once upon a time, there was an island
called “The super Island “ There were so many
different kinds of scary animals on it. Many people went there, but no one has
every came back.
One day, there were three animals having a
picnic in the mountain. They were a monkey a bear and a fox.
But on their way home. They were caught by
some pirates.
The pirates took them to The Super Island
and told them. “Your job is find all the gold and treasure for us, We will be
back after three days If you don’t bring the treasure to us, we will leave you
here and you can make friends with the monsters here.”
Off they went, left the monkey, the bear
and the fox with a map of the island. They didn't know what to do and where to
find the treasure.
The bear was thirsty. He suggested everyone
to find some water and food so they have energy to find the treasure. The bear used
his sensitive nose to find a big water fall. They all drank some water happily.
Suddenly, the water fall formed a big hole
and swallowed them. When they woke up, they found themselves sitting by the
water fall.
To their surprise. Everything was so big.
They entered the giant world by going through the water fall.
The trees were
big The rocks were big. Even the flowers were big.
They saw many giant birds flying in the
sky. They were scared that the birds in the sky would catch them and eat them,
so they walked slowly and carefully.
After few hours, they came to a dark
forest. Though the sun was big and shiny in the sky, they could hardly see
anything.
Luckily, the clever monkey knew how to make
torches and he did. In the forest, they saw many shadows moving around them.
Suddenly, the fox saw a witch standing on a branch and saying get out of my
island or you will be my evils servants like all the animals on this island”
They realized that the animals here were very very scary was because they were
bewitched.
So they started to flight. The fox dag a
big hole and covered it with some grass and the bear quickly threw a big rock
to the witch, but the witch was faster. She flew behind the bear and hit the
bear with her broom, “Ya – hoo” The witch shouted.

The Dragon Village
In the legend, there was a floating island
in the world. Only a few people know about it. It was over the pacific Ocean.
There were many special plants and animals
living on it. One of the most special animals on the island were dragons.
They loved to stay on the island because it
was peaceful and relaxing. Each one of them belonged to a wizard or a witch.
The leader witch, Anny, had a water dragon and the leader wizard, Sam, had a
fire dragon. Anny fed her dragon poison algae and Sam his dragon deer's livers.
There were two worlds on the island. The
bright world and the dark world. Good wizards and witches lived in the bright
world and there was a very evil wizard called Minos living in the dark world.
One day, Minos rode on his purple dragon to
the bright world. He said, “ You put me in the dark world 100 years ago. I
lived in the dark, wet and cold place and I was so lonely.”
“But you and your people can enjoy the
sunshine and happiness every day. How unfair that is!! I will destroy
everything here and turn this place into a living hell. I will give you three
days. You leave or die.” Then he left. The wizards and witches were scared.
They had a meeting because they wanted to
fight back. Witch Anny and Wizard Sam helped all the wizards and witches to
their dragons and prepare for the fight.
After three days, Minos came to the bright
side of the island again. He saw all the wizards and witches were waiting for
him on their dragons. Witch Anny and Wizard Sam took every to fight with Minos.
The fought non – stop for three days.
Finally, Minos gave up. Then he ran away. After the battle, many people died
and many houses were broken. Even the forests were burned.
It took them one year to rebuild their
houses and environment and they lived happily ever after.

Fantasy
Once upon a time, there was a mouse
Barbara. She lived with her family in a big tree hole near a river. She was not
an ordinary mouse. She liked to read stories and daydream all the time.
Barbara always thought there was a
beautiful world in the sky, where she could fly anywhere she wanted, like a
fairy, after eating the rainbow beans. When Barbara told other mice about this,
they thought she was crazy and began to stay away from her, but she didn't care.
One night, when Barbara went to bed, she
saw something sparkle outside of her window. If fell into her room as she
opened the window. She was so surprised because that was a rainbow bean! It
also wrote : Eat me! Everything will come true!”
She was very happy and ate it, but nothing
happened. She was sad and fell asleep in tears. The next morning, she woke up
and saw her room become very different.
Barbara wasn't in her room! She was in the “Cloudy
World”! All the buildings were made of clouds. The animals there were very
friends to her She made a lot of new friends.
When she was hungry or thirsty, she could
eat rainbow candies or drink rain drops. Barbara thought the life there was
interesting. In fact, the place looked like a heaven.
Two days latter, she missed her family and
old friends, so she waved good – bye to her new friends.
Barbara thought if she
jumped down the clouds, she could go back, so she jumped.
Finally, when she opened her eyes, she
found herself in her room. The “Cloudy World” was all a dream, but she had a
beautiful memory to carry in her heart!

There was a beggar called Tim and he was 26 years old. He had a
little money and he live in a village. His family all passed away, but he was
very happy every day.
One day, Tim missed his father and he was very sad. He went to his
father's bed room. When he opened the door, his key fell on the floor. He knelt
down and wanted to pick up the key.
Suddenly, he saw a shiny box next to key and he picked it up. He
opened the box and saw a key, a sword, and a map in it.
It was the map of his village. There was a yellow star on it. He
followed the direction in the map and he found a grave yard, but he didn't know
where.
He found a tomb with a lock and a star picture on it. He unlocked it
with the key and. Suddenly, he found some long and big stairs.
He walked down the stairs and he found a room. There was a stat me
of a warrior. When he came close to it, it started moving.
The warrior was very tall and strong and it wanted to kill Tim with
a big sword. He was very scared and me took out his sword that he found in a
box.
He stared to fight with the warrior. He wanted to throw the sword in
to the head of the warrior, but the warrior whit him away. He jump and throw
the sword in to the head of the warrior.
He killed the warrior and he was very happy. He saw a very big door
and he opened the door.
He found a lot of jewels and gold. He became very rich and he was
very happy.
He had a very smart son. He told his son the story every night.

Monster
Long time ago, there was a beautiful country. Tomato country. There
lived many tomatoes.
They smiled and played together every day. They were happy.
However, one day there came many monsters, and they loved to eat
tomatoes!
Tomatoes were their favorite food. Eating tomatoes made the monsters
strong.
Everybody was scared. They ran around but didn't know where to go.
Besides, everyone wanted to protect the king, the queen and the princess.
They tried to kill the monsters, but they were dead. The monsters,
but they were dead. The princess wanted to think of a way to kill the monsters,
but she didn't know the way.
One day, there came a young tomato. He was strong and smart. He
fought with the monsters.
After a long, hard time, he Won. Everyone wanted to thank him.
Especially the king, the queen and the princess wanted to say
thanks. The princess fell in love with him.
However, the young tomato was gone after killing the monsters.
He even didn't leave his name. Maybe he was too shy, or maybe he had
some reasons that he didn't want to tell everyone.
Although the princess was sad, She was still happy. Anyway, everyone
was happy in the end.

A Scary Dream
Sue has a wonderful day in the park today. She even caught a little
beautiful bird with a net and took it back home.
After she got home, she locked the bird in a cage in her room.
Sue felt tired, so she went to bed early. She said good night to her
family and to the little bird. Soon she fell asleep and she had a dream.
In her dream she was in a dark haunted house. She was scared, so she
walked around slowly inside. She wanted to go out, but the door was locked.
She had no choice, but continued walking until she found a way out.
Then she saw a room. She pushed the door open lightly and saw mummies inside.
She was afraid, so she turned around quickly and quietly.
She kept walking forward. There were lots of bats hanging from the
ceiling and they were watching her.
She walked slowly and she saw another room. When she walked in, a
witch with a long black gown came out from nowhere and caught her.
The witch was very angry and stared at her with her red eyes.
Sue cried out loud, but no one came to help. She was caught and
locked in a cage.
The witch turret her into a bird and told her that it was turn to
fell life without freedom.
Suddenly, she heard her mother’s voice from far away calling her
name.
She also saw a little light from the distance. When the voice of her
mom got close, the light got close, too.
She finally woke up from the terrible dream. She soon jumped out of
her bed and ran to the bird cage.
To her surprise, the little beautiful bird
was gone.
Sue told her mom she would learn to respect all kinds of lives in
the world from now on.

Me
Hello, I'm a big body of land. I'm always white.
Sometimes, it's dark all long. But sometimes it's bright all here!
Do you know my name?
Bingo! You got my name. I am Antarctica .
I have few friends here. Animals and plants can't stand my coldness,
so they leave me alone. Only penguins keep me company Because of them, I’m not
lonely. How friendly they are!
Now, I'm in trouble. I don't know what's going wrong with me. I have
a terrible disease. Nobody can cure me.
I'm shrinking. Parts of my body become smaller and smaller. Some of
them swim away from me and others even disappear.
My penguin friends complain that they have less and less space to
play and live on.
I'm so scared that water will take over my body. I know I will take
over my body. I know I will sink someday.
Someone says humans don't care for our planet. They don't protect
Mother Nature.
They put me in danger. That makes me feel really angry and terrible.
People, I'm going to die. Please help me.

One day, Bert got up early and went to school as usual.
When he walked by a large TV in a shop window, he looked at the game
on it and said, “How I wish to be one of the characters! Then I wouldn't have
to go to school every day. “As if by magic, he was sucked into the TV and his
adventure began.
He looked around and found out that he was in a city There were many
people and tall buildings. The name of the place was “The city of Dreams
They said that many people tried to do it, but nobody came back. After
a few days, Bert was ready, so he set off his journey to save the mayor.
After traveling for a long time, he arrived at the terrifying forest
they talked about. There were many monster s and dinosaurs which would eat
anything alive.
Bert used the steel sword and fought with them bravely. He killed
all of them and found a huge cave where the people who tried to save the mayor
were locked up. They told him that he was kept somewhere else.
Two days later, Bert found the place which a large black bear
guarded. He fought the bear and finally won.
The mayor thanked him a lot and promised to let his daughter marry
Bert.
Though Bear was proud of what he had done, he wanted to go home. He
went to the place where he landed and made a wish sincerely. “If I can get home,
I will go to school every day and not complain anymore.”
With a flash, he got back to the street, in front of the TV in the
shop window.
He knew that nothing was braver than facing his normal life and went
to school happily.

Angel's
Journey
A long, long time ago. There was a nice and beautiful heaven in the
sky and many angels lived there. They all lived happily in the heaven, but
something scary happened.
One day, a pregnant anger called Mary who was kind and smart was about
to deliver her baby. Everyone was very nervous, so they went to the hospital
and find some doctors and nurses. They helped Mary to deliver her baby. The
baby was strong and healthy.
Suddenly, a devil appeared. He caught Mary and took her away. He
locked her in a bottle and he said, “I have never had an angel in my
collection. This angel is perfect. Hahaha! ”
His father named the baby Mark. He took a good care of him and
taught him magic and everything, inducing where his mom was. Day after day,
Mark grew up. Now he was twenty years old.
One day, Mark told his father that he wanted to save his mother
because he was strong and brave now. His father gave him a magic wand and a
magic book. He stood on the magic book and said a spell. Then he suddenly went
to the hell.
When he came to the hell, he saw a river. He wanted to crass the
river, but he needed to pay the money. He paid the money to the ghost and
crossed the river. After he crossed the river, he saw many poor souls being
punished.
After that, he saw the devil's castle. He went in to the castle
quietly and he went to the devil's room.
He saw a big closet with hundreds of bottles. Each bottle has a
magic creature and all the bottles are locked.
He found the bottle with his mother inside, but he didn't have the
key. He went to the devil's bedroom and he saw the key was in the devil’s hand.
He said a magic spell and the devil’s hand opened.
He saved his mother, but the devil heard the sound and he work up.
The devil wanted to catch them, but they ran fast. They escaped
safely.
When they came back to the heaven in the sky, all the angels were
very happy because Mark saved his mother. Everyone all lived happily in the
heaven.

There was a village called Maple village.
People in the village started to become rich. The Wesley family, the Lee family
and the Wang family were all very rich.
There was a man called Jack and he also
lived in this village. He cut trees for a living and his was very poor. His
wife told him to ask Wesley how to
become rich.
In the Wesley's house, he told Jack that in
the mountain there was a lake. If you went there and threw something inside, a
beautiful fairy would appear and turned the thing that you throw into gold.
Wesley sold the gold and he become rich. He
bought a new house, a new car and he even bought a big diamond ring for his
wife, But Jack found that Wesley's eyes are red.
Jack went home and told his wife how Wesley
become rich. His wife told him to do the same thing that Wesley did, but he
didn't want to do it. Because he thought this was strange. He found people who
came back from the lake had red eyes.
After few days, they finished spending all
the money and they were very hungry. That night, Jack decided to go to the
lake, but someone was already there. It wash is neighbor, Timmy.
He saw Timmy throwing an ax into the lake
and a fairy appeared with a golden ax. When Timmy took the golden ax from the
fairy's hand. The fairy suddenly opened Timmy's mouth and put some eggs into
it. Then his eyes became red.
Jack was scared and he wanted to run away
But Timmy was his best friend and he wanted to save him.
So after Timmy left, he walked to the lake
and threw the pot into it. Few minutes later, the fairy appeared. When the
fairy wanted to give him the golden pot came closer to Jack.
Jack took out a knife and stabbed the fairy
in the head. The fairy screamed crazily and started to melt.
Then she disappeared into the air and the
only thing left was a lot of gold and some medicine.
He took all the gold and medicine back. He
gave the medicine to the villages who had red eyes and after they took the
medicine, their eyes all become normal.
Jack was rich and happy and he lived with
his wife happily ever after.

Korea
Dear Elmo, This is the photo book I made for you.
Remember we went to Korea
Remember you were making snow angels? Didn't you feel cold? I was
excited, too because it was my first time to see the snow and I made a snowman
by myself.
Then, we had a snowball fight. It was so much fun.
Learning to ski was the most difficult activity for you. Remember
you fell over a stone, stumbled and tripped?
See, these are photos that were taken when we were eating
strawberries. The strawberries were so big and juicy and you ate there of them.
Remember we tried on handbok ? you wore it inside out.
Finally, I had to help you with your hanbok. It was not easy to wear
it right. It took us a long time to figure it out.

Kimchi DIY was fun, too. We learned to make kimchi with our hands.
Chopping, washing , seasoning and pickling lettuce was not an easy job to do.
Remember you tried the kimchi you made?
It was waaaaaay too spicy. I guess you probably put too much chili
in it.

My 1st Bike Riding
Recently, my father bought a bicycle for me. It was orange and
black. Orange
I pulled the bike out. I sat on the bike, my whole body was
trembling.
My mother stood behind the bicycle to help me.
My mother let go of the bicycle. I lost my balance and fell down. It
was very noisy and scary.
I was in pain lying on the ground crying out loud. I said “Ouch! I
am hurt!”
My mother told me not to cry and told me to try again.
I immediately stood up and patted off the dirt.
I sat on my bike, but I still could not overcome the fear, so I said
to myself, “I can do it!”
I tried again. Finally, I succeeded, so I was very happy.
I kept trying and rode with the Sesame Street Muppet's.
Some people say that where there is a will there is a way, So don’t
give up because you will be good.
The joy of success is a great feeling.
