Benjamin's
Fancy Adventure
People always want what they don't have.
Benjamin is a naughty and full of
imagination perch. He lives in a small pond with his family.
One day, Benjamin went out to play with his
best friend, Clisa. He told her that he would like to go to the ocean. He
wanted to see beautiful surfs and shells.
Time flew away, it was dark now. Clisa said
goodbye to Benjamin and went home.
Benjamin's mother asked him to go home.
Though he wanted to go to the ocean, he went home finally.
The next day, Benjamin went out by himself.
He saw Mr. Frog. Benjamin told him he wondered to live on the land like him.
Mr. Frog said, “Are you joking?” Then
Benjamin kept swimming.
After a while, he saw Mrs. Sea-fowl. He told
her he wondered to go to the ocean.
Mrs. Sea fowl laughed at him and told him
that the seawater is too salty for perches.
Then, Benjamin arrived at a river, he met
Jimmy, a beaver. Jimmy invited him to have a delicious dinner and stay for a
night.
The third day, Benjamin arrived at a tidal
flat unconsciously. He saw a fish which looks almost the same as him. They made
friends and kept swimming together.
Suddenly, a huge surd carried him to the
ocean.
Benjamin felt scared and missed his family
because ocean is too dark and deep. He asked a calm for help, but it was
useless.
Benjamin felt helpless and uncomfortable
because the seawater is too salty. Then he heard a beautiful voice.
“Why are you crying?” asked a gorgeous
mermaid. Benjamin told her about his adventure, and she promised to help him.
Abruptly, a bigger surf than before carried
him into the blue sky, He felt excited because he saw the fantastic beach.
The colorful shells shone in the sunshine.
Benjamin landed on the beach, but he was so
dry that he was dying. Big Bird saw him and said, “Why are you here, perch?”,
and helped him back to the river.
Benjamin just wants to stay with his family
together forever now. He knows that his home is the best place in the world.
Cherish what you have is happiness.
