A Lesson From a Raindrop

Once upon a time, there was a raindrop named Sarah. She had many friends. They liked to have fun together.

They could become a gas, a liquid or a solid and they felt terrific every day.

One day, when Sarah and her friends played with the clouds, they saw smoke drifting in the sky.

“What’s that? It smells awful.” Sarah said. “We think so, too.” Her friends answered. Then, Sarah and her friends decided to go take a look.'

After arriving at the destination, Sarah and her friends were so surprised that shouted loudly, “Look! There are lots of factories there. And the smoke comes out from the chimney.

“Also, the river next to the factories is polluted. There are lots of garbage, plastic bags and tins in the river,” said her friends.

They found that the reason why there was smoke in the sky was the environment was being destroyed by people.

Therefore, Sarah got an idea to teach the people a lesson. She went back and asked more friends for help.

The next day, it rained cats and gods. And it lasted for three days.

Because of the heavy rain, it caused a fold. Due to the fold, the factories couldn't produce goods. Also, the environment became a mess.

People were so scared that they knew that they did something harmful to the environment.

After that, they started to clean the river and do recycling.

Most important of all, the factory workers reduced the emissions of exhaust gases.

Sarah was so happy that people learned the lesson. From then on, people knew that they had to be nice to their environment.

THE HAPPY KINGDOM

Along long time ago, there was a Snow king don. There was a king called Charming and a queen called Snow White. They had a child called Olivia.

Olivia was brave, but silly. Her hands had a magic power, that they could kill every evil person. One day, while Snow White was walking in the Dark forest, a wind blew and all the servants couldn't open their eyes. When they opened their eyes again. Snow White was gone.

The servants were very worried, so they quickly told King Charming about this. King Charming was very sad, so her got sick.

Olivia and her friend Jack knew about it , so they planned to find Snow White. They ran to the Dark forest. And found a big strange hole.

Olivia and Jack heard voices from the hole, so they just jumped in. It was dark there, so they had to walk slowly and carefully. After few minutes, Olivia was very tired, so she said to Jack, “ Jack. Can we take a break?”

While Olivia and Jack were resting, a huge snake crawled quickly and wanted to bite them. Olivia and Jack got scared and they ran quickly into the cave.

Suddenly, they saw light on their right hand side. They ran to the light and saw a kingdom.

Everything was purple in this kingdom. Even the castle was purple and there were many huge birds flying in the sky.

Olivia and Jack carefully walked into the castle. When they walked in, there was Purple Queen sitting on a purple chair. And next to her, they saw Snow White sitting in a big purple cage.

Olivia went to the cage and shouted to the Purple Queen, “Free my mother!!” She ran to the Purple Queen with a knife. But , the Purple Queen was fast.

Before Olivia could stab the Purple Queen. The queen held her hands to stop her. She didn't know the magic power of Olivia's hands.

Suddenly, she was on fire. She shouted loudly and busted into ashes. Olivia beat the queen with her magical hands.

Finally, Olivia and Jack found a key and opened the cage. Snow White, Olivia and Jack went to the Snow kingdom and everybody was so happy an had a bid party.

Benjamin's Fancy Adventure

People always want what they don't have.

Benjamin is a naughty and full of imagination perch. He lives in a small pond with his family.

One day, Benjamin went out to play with his best friend, Clisa. He told her that he would like to go to the ocean. He wanted to see beautiful surfs and shells.

Time flew away, it was dark now. Clisa said goodbye to Benjamin and went home.

Benjamin's mother asked him to go home. Though he wanted to go to the ocean, he went home finally.

The next day, Benjamin went out by himself. He saw Mr. Frog. Benjamin told him he wondered to live on the land like him.

Mr. Frog said, “Are you joking?” Then Benjamin kept swimming.

After a while, he saw Mrs. Sea-fowl. He told her he wondered to go to the ocean.

Mrs. Sea fowl laughed at him and told him that the seawater is too salty for perches.

Then, Benjamin arrived at a river, he met Jimmy, a beaver. Jimmy invited him to have a delicious dinner and stay for a night.

The third day, Benjamin arrived at a tidal flat unconsciously. He saw a fish which looks almost the same as him. They made friends and kept swimming together.

Suddenly, a huge surd carried him to the ocean.

Benjamin felt scared and missed his family because ocean is too dark and deep. He asked a calm for help, but it was useless.

Benjamin felt helpless and uncomfortable because the seawater is too salty. Then he heard a beautiful voice.

“Why are you crying?” asked a gorgeous mermaid. Benjamin told her about his adventure, and she promised to help him.

Abruptly, a bigger surf than before carried him into the blue sky, He felt excited because he saw the fantastic beach.

The colorful shells shone in the sunshine.

Benjamin landed on the beach, but he was so dry that he was dying. Big Bird saw him and said, “Why are you here, perch?”, and helped him back to the river.

Benjamin just wants to stay with his family together forever now. He knows that his home is the best place in the world.

Cherish what you have is happiness.

Canada:

I visited Canada. Canada is a very beautiful country. If you come to Canada, you shouldn't miss Summer Market in Salt Spring Island. In the market, each booth has their own characteristic, like soap、hangings、Campanella, and candles. It's very cool! Everybody likes it!                                2016.7.2

Australia:

I went to Australia. Their official language is English, so I could talk to them easily. The Sydney Opera House is a well – known cultural center. Their visual arts are thought to have begun with the body painting of its peoples. Australia is an amazing country. I love it!                                        2016.7.10

Italy:

I visited Italy. Everyone said Italians are carefree and friendly. They also like soccer! I tasted many cuisine, like tiramisu、pasta、pizza and risotto. They were so yummy! And I went to Torre di Pissa, it was designed as a finished, the building leaned, but it was still wonderful! If I have another chance to go to Italy, I will be very very excited!                                                                                       2016.7.16

Egypt:

I went to Egypt. Egypt was hot and dry! I saw the pyramids, they were very high and huge, and the pyramids in Egypt were very old. I also visited Alexandria. Alexandria is the second largest city in Egypt. I think Egypt is the most amazing place in the world!                                                  2016.7.22

Brazil:

I saw the biggest “ Christ the Redeemer” of the world in Rio de Janeiro. It's pretty good, what a beautiful statue! It was the most spectacular view I have ever seen, I also watched the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil. It was wonderful! Brazilian like to dance Samba and play soccer. I think I have to practice more, or I will lose a lot of points!                                                                             2016.7.27

Austria:

I visited Austria. I was very glad to visit here. I went to Vienna State Opera. It's the main symbol in Austria. Vienna is a famous place for music, like Mozart, he was born in Vienna. Austria is beautiful! The people in Austria are very friendly. I love Austria!                                                            2016.8.4

Taiwan:

I came to Taiwan. It's a wonderful Island on Pacific Ocean. First, I went to Taipei 101, It's the second highest building in the world. When I looked down the city, everything is small. Then, I went to the night markets. At the night market, the toys are very interesting; the food is delicious!

Why the Rabbits Have Short Tails

Long ago. Rabbits were very cute and had long long tail. That all changed because of a greedy little rabbit.

One day, a little rabbit saw fresh vegetables across the river, but he couldn't swim.

When he saw a crocodile, he came up with an idea. The rabbit said “Poor crocodile! Why don’t you have any friends?”

The crocodile was upset to hear this. So he shouted. “Who said that I don’t have any friends? I do have lots of friends!” Yet the rabbit said in purpose. “ I won’t believe you unless you can prove it.”

The crocodile dived into the water and called ring~ for his friends. After a while, lots of crocodiles lined up on the river, The crocodile said proudly, “See, I am charming and popular.”

But the smart rabbit said, “Wait! I need to count. One 1, two 2, three 3, four 4, five 5….” As he counted, he hopped toward the other side of the river.

“Ha! Ha! Ha! Fool crocodiles. All I want is enjoying the fresh vegetables! Who cares about silly crocodiles?!”

Suddenly, the crocodile who was nearest the rabbit jumped up and bit the rabbits long tail!

The rabbit pulled and pulled, and luckily he ran away from the furious crocodiles.

When the rabbit got home, his short broken tail become popular in surprise.

As a result, the other rabbits tired their best to get a short tail just like his.

That is why, all rabbits nowadays have short tails.

Naughty Ernie

Long ago, Ernie was a naughty boy. One day, he found a special overcoat while he was cleaning up the warehouse. He had never seen it before, so he tried it on.

After putting it on, he became invisible. “Wow! This is so cool. Now I can do what ever I want and no one would know it.” He was so excited.

He walked down Sesame Street and nobody could see him. Because of the coat, he had many ideas flooding his mind. He went to the supermarket and got a lot of goods, but didn't pay for them.

However, he didn't feel satisfied, and wanted more. He wanted to play some practical jokes. He used his foot to trip people. Many pedestrians fell and got hurt, but no one knew what happened.

When he passed by a building, a woman in the building was watering flowers on the top floor. The water poured on Ernie and he was wet.

He felt angry, so he got a stone and threw it the woman window and broke it. When he saw the angry woman look out find nothing, he was so happy.

Suddenly, a protruding nail on a lamp post ripped his overcoat and he wasn't invisible anymore.

When the people on the street saw him appear all of a sudden, they knew what was going on.

“You have done many bad things and even hurt people. We don’t want to be tour friends,” said Bert angrily. “No, I was just kidding.” Ernie wanted to explain himself, but he knew it was all his fault.

Dear Ernie, we all love toy and want to be your friends, but your bad habit of playing tricks on people is really terrible. If you can promise you’ll never do it again, we’ll still friends with you,” Said Big Bird kindly.

I'm sorry, everyone. I will never do it again. Please give me a chance and still be my friends.” Ernie begged them.

Since then, Ernie changed himself. He stopped playing jokes and was willing to help people. Everyone on Sesame Street was very happy about it, especially Ernie.

PENGUINS' JOURNEY

One day, a ship came to the South Pole. The people on the ship landed on a place where penguins lived.

When they arrived, they took out a net to catch the penguins. They were penguin hunters. The penguins quickly hid in an ice hole, but still, some of them were caught by the penguin hunters.

The hunters come here every month. The numbers of penguins became less and less.

They couldn't stand it anymore! So, they had a meeting. The meeting was about what they could do so that the people wouldn't come anymore.

In the meeting, a young penguin said “There is no way to stop those hunters from coming here. Maybe we can move to another place!”

Then, an old penguin said “ I remember there is a book about the world in the library. Maybe we can read it and decide where to move.” So all the penguins went to the library to look for it and finally they borrowed it home.

In the book, they saw many places like England、Australia、Japan, etc… They didn't know which place is good for them, so they decided to travel around the world and find their favorite place and get away from the penguin hunters.

After they made this decision. All of them were busy packing. They brought almost everything、Goggles、nail clippers、anchovies and of course, the book.

After one week, they started moving. When they swam to the Pacific Ocean, they saw a land about one hundred meters far from them. They landed there and opened the book to check which place it was. It said that this place was Taiwan.

They really like it here, so they decided to take a rest. They took out their anchovies and had a picnic on the beach. There was a sign said : South Bay.” It was a good place, but it was still not cold enough. So they jumped to the ocean and continued swimming.

After 2 weeks. Then saw another island. They saw many sakura trees. A lot of fresh fid and friendly people on the island. They knew that it was Japan. The weather was nice there.

They went to a restaurant there and they ordered some sashimi with wasabi it was delicious! They really like it here, but it was still not cold enough.

At last, they got to the North Pole. They saw many animals like polar bears – snowy foxes and killer whales. They became good friends. There were many big ice burgs, a lot of and icy fish and cool fresh air! They really liked it here and it was cold enough, so they lived there happily ever after.

Super Island

Once upon a time, there was an island called “The super Island “ There were so many different kinds of scary animals on it. Many people went there, but no one has every came back.

One day, there were three animals having a picnic in the mountain. They were a monkey a bear and a fox.

But on their way home. They were caught by some pirates.

The pirates took them to The Super Island and told them. “Your job is find all the gold and treasure for us, We will be back after three days If you don’t bring the treasure to us, we will leave you here and you can make friends with the monsters here.”

Off they went, left the monkey, the bear and the fox with a map of the island. They didn't know what to do and where to find the treasure.

The bear was thirsty. He suggested everyone to find some water and food so they have energy to find the treasure. The bear used his sensitive nose to find a big water fall. They all drank some water happily.

Suddenly, the water fall formed a big hole and swallowed them. When they woke up, they found themselves sitting by the water fall.

To their surprise. Everything was so big. They entered the giant world by going through the water fall. 

The trees were big The rocks were big. Even the flowers were big.

They saw many giant birds flying in the sky. They were scared that the birds in the sky would catch them and eat them, so they walked slowly and carefully.

After few hours, they came to a dark forest. Though the sun was big and shiny in the sky, they could hardly see anything.

Luckily, the clever monkey knew how to make torches and he did. In the forest, they saw many shadows moving around them. Suddenly, the fox saw a witch standing on a branch and saying get out of my island or you will be my evils servants like all the animals on this island” They realized that the animals here were very very scary was because they were bewitched.

So they started to flight. The fox dag a big hole and covered it with some grass and the bear quickly threw a big rock to the witch, but the witch was faster. She flew behind the bear and hit the bear with her broom, “Ya – hoo” The witch shouted.

The Dragon Village

In the legend, there was a floating island in the world. Only a few people know about it. It was over the pacific Ocean.

There were many special plants and animals living on it. One of the most special animals on the island were dragons.

They loved to stay on the island because it was peaceful and relaxing. Each one of them belonged to a wizard or a witch. The leader witch, Anny, had a water dragon and the leader wizard, Sam, had a fire dragon. Anny fed her dragon poison algae and Sam his dragon deer's livers.

There were two worlds on the island. The bright world and the dark world. Good wizards and witches lived in the bright world and there was a very evil wizard called Minos living in the dark world.

One day, Minos rode on his purple dragon to the bright world. He said, “ You put me in the dark world 100 years ago. I lived in the dark, wet and cold place and I was so lonely.”

“But you and your people can enjoy the sunshine and happiness every day. How unfair that is!! I will destroy everything here and turn this place into a living hell. I will give you three days. You leave or die.” Then he left. The wizards and witches were scared.

They had a meeting because they wanted to fight back. Witch Anny and Wizard Sam helped all the wizards and witches to their dragons and prepare for the fight.

After three days, Minos came to the bright side of the island again. He saw all the wizards and witches were waiting for him on their dragons. Witch Anny and Wizard Sam took every to fight with Minos.

The fought non – stop for three days. Finally, Minos gave up. Then he ran away. After the battle, many people died and many houses were broken. Even the forests were burned.

It took them one year to rebuild their houses and environment and they lived happily ever after.

Barbara's Fantasy

Once upon a time, there was a mouse Barbara. She lived with her family in a big tree hole near a river. She was not an ordinary mouse. She liked to read stories and daydream all the time.

Barbara always thought there was a beautiful world in the sky, where she could fly anywhere she wanted, like a fairy, after eating the rainbow beans. When Barbara told other mice about this, they thought she was crazy and began to stay away from her, but she didn't care.

One night, when Barbara went to bed, she saw something sparkle outside of her window. If fell into her room as she opened the window. She was so surprised because that was a rainbow bean! It also wrote : Eat me! Everything will come true!”

She was very happy and ate it, but nothing happened. She was sad and fell asleep in tears. The next morning, she woke up and saw her room become very different.

Barbara wasn't in her room! She was in the “Cloudy World”! All the buildings were made of clouds. The animals there were very friends to her She made a lot of new friends.

When she was hungry or thirsty, she could eat rainbow candies or drink rain drops. Barbara thought the life there was interesting. In fact, the place looked like a heaven.

Two days latter, she missed her family and old friends, so she waved good – bye to her new friends. 

Barbara thought if she jumped down the clouds, she could go back, so she jumped.

Finally, when she opened her eyes, she found herself in her room. The “Cloudy World” was all a dream, but she had a beautiful memory to carry in her heart!

The soul of baseball has come back. Baseball used to be the most favorite sport in Taiwan, however, it became less popular because of the gambling. Due to “the WBC”, many people came back to see the game. The most exciting game was Taiwan to Korea. When people saw the players focus on every ball, trying to seize the time to nit them. They can hardly breathe. Then the players hit the ball and ran quickly to the home base. All the people stood up to shout and cheer loudly for them. I wish the soul of baseball would never fade away.

Protect Home

Once upon a time, there were some elves living in a forest. They're very happy. One day, some people came to the forest. They became friends very soon. But one early morning, an elf saw the people who came from the city cutting down the trees. Those timber smuggler cut wood for money. The elf called everyone to help. Everyone was very angry and they played some tricks. Suddenly, all of the people became trees, insects, or animals.  And there's no one can destroy the forest.

If I Had a Time Machine

 I am forgetful. I always forget to bring my homework to school and I often make mistakes. So, if I had a time machine, I would go ahead to the future. Then I would find out want I would forget to do and what mistakes I would make. Then, when I came back, I would know how to make everything perfect. Therefore, my teachers wouldn't shout at me and my mom wouldn't complain about me. If I had a time machine, I would be a perfect me!

The year of 2050

I think people in the year of 2050 will build their houses in the sky because there will be no enough land for people to live. The machines can do all kinds of things for them, like housework, homework, and cooking. Life will be easy. People just need to take a remote control and press the buttons. The robot cleaner can clean the house and multiple oven can cook every dish. It saves a lot of time.

In the year of 2050, people can travel by flying machines , like helix-car , helix-bus or helix-taxi. They all fly in the sky instead of going on land. People have many places to travel. They can visit not only the earth but also the outer space. I think it will be very interesting to live in the future. I can't wait!

Prairie Dawn’s Journey

One day, Prairie Dawn invented a time machine. She decided to use the time machine to travel to the past. She felt very excited. She pressed a button, and then the machine took off very fast. When she landed, she was in the time of dinosaurs. There were many different kinds of dinosaurs, she saw the Diplodocus, its neck was very long, and it liked to play in the water. Besides, she saw the Pterannodon. It had long wings, and it liked to fly in the sky. The world of dinosaurs was very interesting and was full of wonder. Prairie Dawn enjoyed her trip a lot. Few days later, she started to miss her friends and her family. She wanted to go home, so she walked into the time machine. She said, “Good bye, dinosaurs!” Then she went back to Sesame Street happily. It was the most wonderful trip that she had ever had.

My horrible dream

Last night, I played the computer games until very late. Therefore, I fell asleep on the desk. Suddenly, I was sucked by the computer to an unknown place. At first, I could see nothing , but then I wiped my eyes trying to see more clearly. There were a lot of tombs and corpses around me. After a few minutes, hundreds of zombies rose from their tombs trying to catch me. At this very moment, I woke up, and I realized it was only a nightmare. Next time, I would never play the games until very late

A Bad Habit

I liked to eat cookies and candy very much. Mom asked me to stop doing it, but I didn't listen. One day, I had a bad toothache. Mom checked my tooth and she said I got a cavity. Mom and Dad took me to a dentist. I lay on the chair , opened my month and waited for the doctor. Then he started drilling. I was so scared of the sound of the drill that it felt like a thousand years. After my tooth got fixed, I always brush my teeth after eating something. I never want to go there again!

A Funny Dream

Something funny happened yesterday afternoon. When I was taking a nap, I had a dream. When I opened the door, a dog barked at me and started chasing me. I ran for my life without looking carefully and then I bumped into a big tree and fell over. The dog ran toward me and bit my hand. It was so painful that I yelled, “Ouch!” Suddenly, I woke up and found my younger sister hitting on my head with a toy hammer and hitting my hand, too. Seeing this, I laughed out loud.

Super T-C Penguin

This world is very lucky, because there is a cool hero called “Super T-C penguin”. She has X-ray eyes, a special watch and a power drink to make things small.

One day, Jeff gets lost in the forest! But Jeff is very lucky, because his friend is super T-C! Super T-C's watch says , “Beep! Beep!” So, Super T-C uses her x-ray eyes to find Jeff. First , she gives Jeff the Power Drink. Now, Jeff is very small and T-C Penguin takes him home. At home he grows bigger again. Finally, Jeff says, ”Let's have a party”. Everybody is so happy!!
